Life has turned upside down and our church life doesn’t look like it used to. In these ever changing times helping our children answer the question, Where is Jesus?, is vital. A newly imagined Highlands Conference Youth ministry will do just this.
Journeying together with families of preschool and elementary aged children, we will utilize both online and at home formats. Each month we’ll explore one of the places where we find Jesus. For example, in September we’ll talk about how Jesus is in manger. Each week will have a different activity.
The first and third weeks will feature a Sunday afternoon Zoom at 3pm. Zoomed out or can’t make them? The story and activity will be shared in email if you would like to do it in your own time. The second and fourth weeks families will be given an at home craft, activity, field trip, or service project to do on their own. We’ll also have a memory verse each month. Families can share photos or videos to be included in a monthly highlight video.
Sign up by filling out the Google Form that is linked above. We will need adult emails for each child participant.
Children do not need to live within the Highlands Conference to participate, but they do need a church to affiliate with in order to get the supplies. Basically, if you’re a grandparent or aunt/uncle and you want to participate with your little ones from afar, we can help make that happen!
